Becoming aware of an experience exactly as it is, without judgment or resistance, is like striking a match in the dark. What might have smoldered unconsciously begins to burn cleanly. The heat isn’t destructive; it’s clarifying. This kind of fire doesn’t consume, it reveals. It burns through what would otherwise harden into unconscious patterns, illuminating a path forward.
The Fire Horse teaches us this wisdom.
Horses do not resist their experience. They meet each moment fully; fear, excitement, power, tenderness, then move on. They don’t cling. They don’t rehearse.
