Let the Wild Horse Run
Out here on the ranch, I’ve learned this truth by watching horses at dusk:
a spirit that needs to run will run, whether in the open field or inside your dreams.
This card arrives when the restless part of you starts stirring. The dark horse. The dreamer. The one who refuses to be fully domesticated by schedules, expectations, or survival mode. That energy isn’t running away from responsibility it’s galloping toward the fulfillment of your deepest heart’s desire.
When life gets heavy, the temptation is to rein that horse in. To make yourself practical. Productive. Reasonable. But this Oracle reminds you that doing so too soon breaks something sacred. The wild dream needs space before it needs direction.
Turn that horse loose.
Let it play.
Let it kick up dust and stretch its legs in the wide field of possibility.
When you allow this part of yourself to move freely, it leads you back into a more soulful relationship with your power, your intuition, your instincts, and your creativity. This is not reckless energy, it’s life force asking to be honored.
Self-care becomes essential here. So many of us were trained to be workhorses, praised for endurance, over-functioning, and pushing through. But creativity doesn’t thrive under a whip. It flourishes when you rest, eat well, laugh, and remember that joy is not a reward, it’s fuel.
When those secret horses race through your dreams, don’t shut them down. Follow them. Feel their muscles stretch as they rear, buck, and gallop through fields of pure potential. The time to harness this power will come, but not yet.
A horse whose spirit is nurtured, not broken, becomes the pioneer’s greatest ally.
And so do you.
For now, dream wildly. Without judgment. Without editing.
Discernment can wait. Your imagination must grow strong before it can carry the weight of practicality.
Let the field be wide.
Let the horse run. 💙
